RB calls for accountability
President Rupiah Banda has called for accountability in the management of funds for development projects.The President says officers should ensure that funds allocated to projects are properly used.
President Banda says government is determined to ensure that it fully implements development projects.
He was speaking at State House in Lusaka on Thursday when he swore in Gladys Lundwe as Lands minister.
Ms. Lundwe has replaced Peter Daka who has been transfered to the ministry of agriculture.
Dr. Brian Chituwo who was heading the Ministry of agriculture has been moved to Science and technology, taking over from Gabriel Namulambe who was sacked on Sunday.
