Crocodile kills girl
A 14-year-old girl has been killed by a crocodile in Samfya.The girls was attacked around 08.00 hours on Saturday as she was washing plates on the shores of Lake Bangweulu.
Chief Kasomabangweulu has confirmed the incident to ZANIS and named the victim as Lister Musunga of Kafwimbi village in Katanshya area.
The chief said villagers managed to retrieve a mutilated body of the victim on Sunday.
He said measures have been taken to avoid further loss of lives.
Meanwhile, strong winds have destroyed four houses and a church in Samfya district.
The four houses and the Church were destroyed when strong winds swept through Chipako area in Mano ward on Sunday.
