MMD Spokesperson Ben Tetamashimba has advised opposition political leaders against dragging late President, Levy Mwanawasa's son, Patrick, into politicss.Mr. Tetamashimba who is also Local Government minister says President Rupiah Banda has been concerned about Patrick not going into university.
He appealed to people close to Patrick to let him know that education is the key to his prosperity.
Mr. Tetamashimba said this in a statement to ZNBC news in Lusaka.
Patrick was recently quoted as urging the MMD against using his Father's name in vain.
He was quoted as saying some politicians only wanted to use his father's name when it suited them best.
And Mr. Tetamashimba said Patrick should not stay aloof when opposition leader Michael Sata tries to insinuate that President Banda and the MMD leadership want to bring President Mwanawasa's name in disreput.

Mr. Chibombamiliomo who is also Mpulungu Member of Parliament says tribal allegations levelled against President Rupiah Banda are being instigated out of mere desire to gain political mileage.
