Swine flu drugs received
The first consignment of swine flu medicines worth K500 million have arrived in Zambia.World Health Organisation country representative Olusangun Babaniyi presented the one thousand doses to the ministry of health in Lusaka, Thursday.
The drugs were received by health minister Kapembwa Simbao who called on health officials and stakeholders to take the issue of the swine flu seriously.
The swine flu drugs will boost the country's preparedness to fight any outbreak of the disease.
