Zanaco humble Enyimba

ZAMBIA's envoys in the CAF Confederation cup, ZANACO Football Club have made a huge step towards qualification to the second round of the tournament after humbling ENYIMBA of NIGERIA by four goals to nil.

A flurry of first half goals made sure Zanaco had a comfortable lead going into the return game.

Zanaco made their intentions known in the second minute through a goal by George Chilufya.

Mathew Macha was on target three minutes later and three minutes later to make things impossible for the Nigerian team which only arrived in Zambia 24 hours before the game on Saturday

Ignatius Lwipa was on song in the 29th minute while Winston Kalengo made it 4-nil shortly before the end of the first half.

ZANACO Coach Wedson Nyirenda told ZNBC Sports that it was not easy to record such a result adding that the team will have to train vigorously as they face ENYIMBA in the return match in the next two weeks.

Meanwhile ENYIMBA coach refused to speak to the media and referred all queries to the team's Media Officer Tonnix Shukw.

Shukw said Enyimba was outplayed.
