Politicians must make peace
The Inter-Religious and International Federation for World Peace says Zambian politicians must reconcile and forgive each other as the nation prepares for this year's general elections.World Peace Federation Chairman for Zambia, Gen. Malimba Masheke said it is important that peace prevails in the nation as the polls approach.
He was speaking in an interview with ZNBC news in Lusaka ahead of the visit to Zambia of reknowned South Korean Peace Evangelist Hak Ja Han Moon.
Gen. Maskeke said Dr. Moon who is expected to visit 120 countries world wide, arrives in Zambia on July 24.
Gen. Masheke said Dr. Moon with her husband, Rev. Sun Myung Moon have dedicated their lives to build world peace so that humanity can live as one.
Federation Secretary General, Rev. Adamson Musonda said Dr Moon's visit to Zambia is an important milestone towards peace and reconciliation.
He urged all peace loving citizens to welcome Dr. Moon to Zambia in large numbers and with an open mind.
Rev. Musonda said Dr. Moon's visit is the first to this country.
