Patriotic Front -PF- North Western Provincial Chairperson Jackson Kungo has praised the Copperbelt membership for exhibiting discipline and maturity during the provincial elections.
Mr. Kungo told ZNBC News in an interview that intraparty elections are not meant to divide the party but build it.
He said the intraparty elections is a demonstration to Zambian that the PF is a democratic party and has respect for the republican constitution.
Meanwhile former National Democratic Congress -NDC- Publicity Secretary Cuthbert Siloka has joined the ruling Patriotic Front -PF.
Mr Siloka a former Radio broadcaster at Mosi-oa-Tunya explained that he has decided to join the PF because the opposition has nothing to offer.
And Southern Province Minister Edify Hamukale has welcomed Mr. Siloka to the PF.
Dr Hamukale stated that there was enough room in the PF and urged all party members to embrace new comers.
