President Edgar Lungu says China has demonstrated true friendship to Zambia.
President Lungu says this has been proved by restoring the dignity of the people through job creation and support to other sectors of the economy.
He says Chinese companies have been with Zambia during difficult good and bad times.

President Lungu assured investors that their businesses will be safe as the country is guided by the rule of law.
At the same function, China Nonferorrous Metal mining CNMC President Xiao Yaqing said his company wants to increase its investment portfolio in Zambia.
The President also witnessed the signing of four business agreements between Zambia and Chinese companies.
Among the agreements signed is the assessment and preparation of the bankable feasibility studies and implementation of the Lusaka Mass Transit Railway corridor project.
This project will see the construction of a transit railway line to reduce congestion on the roads in Lusaka.
The ministry of mines also signed an agreement with CNMC on cooperation in industrial parks, training and mining operations.
The aim of this MOU is to support the establishment of industrial parks across the country as well as promote training for Zambians among others.
Minister of Mines Richard Musukwa also signed another agreement with Tianjin Maolin Science and technology limited which will see a company invest into a mineral processing plant.
Minister of Commerce Christopher Yaluma signed an agreement with Protea Infrastructure and CAD fund regarding investment in a power plant.
And minister of Transport and communications Brian Mushimba signed an agreement on behalf of Zambia with Huawei to cooperate in the ICT sector.
