Minister of information and broadcasting services Dora Siliya has challenged Topstar not to relax but deliver digital television signal to the expectations of Zambians.
Speaking last night during the commemoration of Top Star’s one-year anniversary in Zambia, Ms Siliya said government is happy with company’s effort to make digital migration possible.
She said the coming of Topstar and its affordable signal distribution has benefitted a lot of Zambians.
Mr. Siliya however called on Topstar to quickly address the concerns raised by the private sector.
And Topstar Vice president Cliff Sichone said for the past one-year Topstar has made a lot of progress in signal distribution compared to other countries it is operating in.
Mr. Sichone also thanked government for the support in the last one year.
