President Edgar Lungu has commissioned Kawama Clinic in Luanshya which was built at a cost of over 2.5 Million Kwacha.
And President Lungu said government has made great strides towards achieving universal health, through increased access to provisional health care.
The Head of State said government has continued to work closely with cooperating partners like the Jsi Usaid the Copperbelt Development Foundation Limited to support developmental programs such as health.
He said works done to expand the clinic will help increase access to health by the community of Kawama.
President Lungu said the construction of Kawama clinic especially the maternity wing will contribute greatly in reduce maternity rates.
