President Edgar Lungu has arrived back in the country from Ethiopia where he was attending the 32nd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, AU.
The President arrived aboard the Presidential Challenger which touched down at the Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula international airport in Livingstone at 20:09 hrs on Sunday.
President Lungu told journalists on arrival that among issues discussed were refugees and displacement adding that there is a desire to end the problems.
The President said contributing factors to the problems are issues of good governance, tolerance and poverty.
He stressed that there is need to look at the root cause and not the consequences.
The President was accompanied by Health Minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya and attorney general Likando Kalaluka.
He was received at the airport by PF Secretary General Davies Mwila, PF National Chairperson Samuel Mukupa, Justice minister Given Lubinda, Southern Province Minister Edify Hamukale and Southern Province Permanent secretary Mwangala Liomba.
Others are District Commissioners from southern province and Senior government officials.
