First lady Esther Lungu has appealed to Zambians to embrace various cooperating partners that come into the country.
Mrs. Lungu says the partners mean well for the country and supplement efforts of government.
The First Lady was speaking when she held a meeting with a team of Doctors from the Charles Drew University from Los Angeles in the United States.
The Doctors are working with the Esther Lungu Foundation to promote adolescent health in Chawama.
Mrs. Lungu has since requested the University to consider expanding the program to the rest of the country.
She has also assured the team which is currently renting a house where adolescent health care and education is offered called the Rise Up House that a permanent residence would be found.
And Higher Education Minister, Nkandu Luo appreciated the partnership with Charles Drew University with Mulungushi Medical School.
Meanwhile, Charles Drew University Epidermologist Ekow Sey said that the University is ready for exchange programmes.
