Government has continued engaging key stakeholders on economic affairs of the country.
A government team comprising State House Spokesperson Amos Chanda, Ministry of Finance Permanent Secretary Mukuli Chikuba and the Ministry’s Spokesperson Chileshe Kandeta recently held an information exchange session with the Catholic Archbishop of Lusaka Alick Banda at the Pope Square.
The team discussed various issues pertinent to Zambia’s economy.
This is according to a statement released to ZNBC news in Lusaka by Ministry of Finance Spokesperson Chileshe Kandeta.
Mr. Kandeta says among the issues discussed were the 2019 National Budget, Fiscal Discipline, and Debt Management.
He says the Archbishop commended the government team for the initiative and further recommended that the engagement should be transformed into a quarterly event.
