The government says it is committed to ensuring that it provides the much-needed leadership in addressing corruption.
Acting Secretary to Cabinet Patrick Kangwa says government is building stronger institutions and systems that avert corruption.
Mr Kangwa says this is why the values of integrity, transparency, accountability and good governance has been enshrined in the republican Constitution and the 7th national development plan as well.
Mr Kangwa was speaking at the official opening of a shareholder validation meeting for a revised national anti-corruption policy organised by the Anti-Corruption Commission in Lusaka today.
And Anti-Corruption Commission-ACC- deputy director General Rosemary Khuzwayo said the commission is equal to the task but needs to have a holistic approach in which every citizen is involved.
