General Education Minister David Mabumba says the ministry and the Ministry of Higher Education are on Tuesday expected to begin a three-day education conference aimed at discussing various ways of improving the quality of Education in the country.
Mr. Mabumba said the move will enable the country to produce good results for pupils at examination level.
He has also called for more investment in quality education from early childhood to secondary level.
He was speaking at a joint media briefing with Higher Education Minister Nkandu Luo in Lusaka.
Professor Luo said the country need to move away from the 1964 curriculum and invest in skills training.
She explained that investing in skills training will enable Zambia to develop its economic potential.
