Energy Minister Matthew Nkhuwa says Government will resume talks with the Democratic Republic of Congo -DRC- once the electoral process is over concerning the setting up of a mega power plant on the Luapula river.
Mr. Nkhuwa says an extension of the Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the DRC and is hopeful that the discussions can go ahead.
He said this during an interview with ZNBC news in Lusaka today.
And Mr. Nkhuwa said government is finalizing the process of finding an equity partner for Indeni Refinery.
He said negotiations are at an advanced stage and that the process should be concluded by March this year.
