Southern Province Minister Edify Hamukale has also implored agriculture officers in the area to ensure that the e-voucher programme is well managed in the 2017 farming season.
Dr. Hamukale says the system is good but poor management is hampering its successful implementation.
The Provincial Minister said this in Monze when he addressed heads of government departments in the district.
And Ministry of Agriculture Crop Husbandry Officer in Monze District, Taonga Mkandawire said the Food Reserve Agency-FRA is this year scheduled to buy 1-thousand nine hundred and eighty metric tonnes of maize in the area.
