Kaunda Square market impresses ZNS command

Zambia National Service -ZNS- Command is happy with progress made on the one point seven million Kwacha Kaunda square market in Lusaka’s Kaunda Square township.

Speaking when he inspected the project being undertaken by ZNS officers ZNS Commandant General Nathan Mulenga says the project is a clear demonstration of governments commitment in working for the community.

General Mulenga said President Edgar Lungu has ensured that the welfare of traders is looked into as they contribute to the Gross Domestic Product -GDP- of the country.

He said government is creating a conducive and enabling environment for the people in various trading spheres.

And Area Councillor Slyvester Mukupa expressed happiness with the pace of the works.

Mr. Mukupa said government is working to fulfil the promises it made in the run up to last year’s general election.
