LONGACRES LODGE IN UPGRADE

 

 

Government has given consent to the Ministry of Infrastructure to build a Five Star hotel at Lusaka’s Longacres Lodge under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.

 

Minister of Tourism and Arts Charles Banda says the concept of a Five Star hotel at Lusaka’s Longacres Lodge has full blessings of government.

 

Speaking when he visited the Hostels Board of Management (HBoM), Mr. Banda said feasibility studies are underway for the hotel and estimates will be availed to members of the public soon.

 

He said his Ministry will support all the stakeholders that will come on board to ensure that some of the lodge facilities belonging to the hostel board are upgraded.

 

And Hostels Board of Management Operations Manager Nkole Chisanga said her institution plans to have a three Star Hotel on the Copperbelt by 2021.
