The Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company says it is experiencing low power voltage at its mass media booster station and Lusaka central distribution Centre which has left some parts of Lusaka without water supply.

Company Public Relations Manager Patson Phiri says the low voltage being experienced at the two stations has affected the pumps.

Mr. Phiri says this has led to reduced water distribution and supply to Rhodespark, Northmead, Longacres, Olympia Park, Olympia Extension, Roma, Kalundu and Mass Media area.

He says the company has engaged the power utility, ZESCO to help resolve the problem at the affected booster station and distribution Centre.

Mr. Phiri further says the company is also repairing a pipe burst on Kamloops road which has left the Eastern part of the city with no water supply since Tuesday morning.

The affected areas on the eastern part of Lusaka are UNZA, Marshlands, Chudleigh, Kaunda Square, PHI, Chelstone and Avondale.

Mr. Phiri says the water supply to all affected areas will only resume once the repair works are completed.
