President Edgar Lungu has sent a message of condolences to Musanzala Member of Parliament Peter Daka on the loss of his mother.
In his message, the President says he received the death of the late Elizabeth Kalomboka Lungu with great shock and sorrow.
The President says the country mourns with the Daka family and extended his message of condolences to Petauke central Member of Parliament Dora Siliya and the people of Petauke.
President Lungu sent his message through Local Government Minister Vincent Mwale at the funeral.
And Former Republican President Rupiah Banda described the late Elizabeth Lungu as a caring mother who did not only share love with her family but extended it to other people.
Mr. Banda says the late Elizabeth Kalomboka Lungu has been there for his family and personally has good memories of her.
Elizabeth Kalomboka 99, died on 11th July 2017 and was put to rest in Petauke over the weekend.
