Defence Minister Davies Chama says Government has made steady progress with the upgrading of Maina Soko Military hospital.
Mr. Chama says Government attaches importance to the provision of quality health care services to all Zambians.
He says the defence force has received support from China over the years due to the warm relations that Zambia and that country share.
Mr. Chama said this in a speech read on his behalf by Zambia Army Deputy Commander Major General Dennis Alibuzwi during the farewell party of the 21st Chinese Military Medical team at Arakan Barracks.
And Deputy Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Lai Bo praised the team for its exemplary work in Zambia.
And Maina Soko Military Hospital Deputy Commandant Brigadier General Levy Muchemwa said the 22nd Chinese Military Medical team has already arrived in the country.
