The remains of late former Zambia’s High Commissioner to Ghana Rayford Mbulu have arrived in the country.
ZANIS in Ndola reports that the plane carrying the remains of the late High Commissioner touched down at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola at 12:00 hours.
And Copperbelt Province permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe who received the body described the late Mr. Mbulu as a servant of the people who served the nation with diligence.
Mr. Nundwe said the late Mr. Mbulu will be put to rest on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Kitwe at Nkana East Cemetery adding that the burial will be preceded by a church service at Maranatha Church in Parklands.
Mr. Nundwe has called on people in the province to accord Mr. Mbulu a befitting send off.
The late Mr. Mbulu died on March 5, 2019 at 37 Military Hospital in Accra, Ghana after an illness.
