Chief Munkonge of the Bemba people of Kasama District has praised government for upgrading four clinics into mini hospitals.
The traditional leader says the upgraded health facilities will enable residents of Munkonge village access quality health care services.
He said this when Health Professions Council of Zambia -HPCZ- acting registrar and Chief Executive Officer Boniface Bwalya paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.
And Mr. Bwalya said the Council is excited with the upgraded health facilities because it means that residents of Munkonge village will be able to access quality health care services nearby.
Mr. Bwalya is on a tour of Northern and Luapula Provinces to engage stakeholders on how best they can work with HPCZ to ensure ethics and standards are upheld.
