Malawi Under 23 National Football team coach Meke Mwase has warned Zambia’s Under 23 football team to be ready for a tough encounter as the two teams lock horns in Lusaka tomorrow.
But Zambia coach Beston Chambeshi says no threat or intimidation will stop his boys from finishing off Malawi tomorrow and qualify to the next stage of the tournament.
The two nations meet in the second leg of the joint 2020 Olympics and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to be played at Lusaka’s National Heroes stadium tomorrow.
Zambia beat Malawi by a goal to nil in the first leg played in Blantyre on Wednesday.
Mwase says his side will fight to the last whistle adding that if Zambia scored in Malawi, nothing can stop his team from scoring even more than a goal in Lusaka.
And Chambeshi has assured the nation that his side will not disappoint on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Zambia Sports Fans Association patron Peter Makembo has called on fans to fill up the National Heroes stadium and cheer the team to victory.
Makembo has also reminded fans to maintain high levels of discipline during the match.
