Senior Chief Ndungu of the Luvale people in Zambezi district says he is saddened with the recent happenings among those tasked to facilitate the national dialogue process.
Chief Ndungu says President Edgar Lungu has been open minded over the dialogue process, but the people tasked to preside over the matter seem to have failed.
The Traditional Leader says it is now time for Zambians to focus on developmental issues being spearheaded by Government as the country is not in a crisis.
Senior Chief Ndungu was speaking to ZNBC News at his Royal Family Villa in Zambezi district this morning.
The Traditional Leader also said there is nothing wrong with traditional leaders supporting and appreciating developmental programs fostered by President Lungu.
He said traditional Leaders exist to work with the Government of the day and that they should not be perceived to be partisan when they do so.
The Senior Chief further thanked President Lungu for various developmental projects in his Chiefdom and the country at large.
Meanwhile Senior Chief Ndungu has echoed calls by other traditional leaders for the media to be professional in their reporting.
He said unprofessional reporting has the potential to bring chaos in the country.
