The National Economic Advisory Council -NEAC- says it will continue providing policy advice to government on strategies that can enhance economic growth.
NEAC Executive Director, Webby Wake says the council is therefore hosting the high-level bi-annual business leaders and Government conference to allow interactions between government and the private sector.
Mr. Wake says the conference will allow the two parties to discuss economic issues that will address the challenges being faced.
He said this during a media briefing in Lusaka.
Mr. Wake noted that the one-day conference will help the two parties come up with amicable solutions to creating a conducive business environment that will foster growth.
And NEAC Principle Policy Analyst Oswald Mungule said the conference to be held tomorrow will cover the four economic sectors from the 7th National development plan such as agriculture, manufacturing, tourism and construction.
Dr. Mungule has urged more business leaders to attend the conference.
