“VICTORIA FALLS IS SAFE”

The National Heritage Conservation Commission NHCC has assured visitors that the Victoria Falls World Heritage site is a safe place to visit throughout the year.
NHCC Conservation Officer JOHN ZULU says the Victoria Falls has never recorded any case of theft or someone being attacked by criminals at the site.
Mr. ZULU says police officers are always at the Victoria Falls to work with NHCC employees to ensure the safety of tourists who visit the site.
Mr. ZULU was reacting to a posting on social media by a tourist who claims to have encountered suspicious people who looked like thieves.
