Aircraft Accident Investigations Board Unveiled

Transport and Logistics Minister FRANK TAYALI has unveiled the New Aircraft Accident Investigation Board.
The five member board will be chaired by Brigadier General JUSTIN BANDA.
And Mr. TAYALI has called for collaboration among aviation stakeholders to enhance the safety of the aviation sector and meet the international standards of aviation.
Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, Mr. TAYALI said Zambia aims to become an aviation hub and this can only be realised when the country’s air space is safe.
Others appointed are Colonel KWIBISA MUYUNDA, Captain MAURICE CHIMBELU, JOYCE SUNDANO and MASILISO CHIBAMBO.
Meanwhile, General BANDA said the board will put in its’ best to ensure safety of the air space.
