All govt operations to be paperless by 2023
By Peter Tembo-Smart Zambia has pledged to completely operationalize a new paperless system for government’s activities by the end of 2023.
Smart Zambia National Coordinator PERCIVE CHINYAMA says government has implemented measures to digitalise the works of all ministries in order to facilitate a one government approach.
Speaking in an interview with ZNBC news in Lusaka , Mr. CHINYAMA said Smart Zambia is enhancing a one government approach that will coordinate efforts towards sharing information across all sectors of government.
Mr. CHINYAMA added that with the implementation of the Constituency Development Fund CDF, Smart Zambia is working towards increasing the levels of connectivity in rural areas.
He said this will help all the 156 constituencies to be connected and have access to government services.
Mr. CHINYAMA further disclosed that this will also help government monitor and evaluate the expenditures in the implementation of CDF across the country.
The Smart Zambia National Coordinator, explained that they are currently working on an E-registry program that will be facilitated in the new year .
