ARTS NEED TO BE PRESERVED-MALUPENGA

Tourism and Arts Permanent Secretary Amos Malupenga says there is need to popularise the legacy of First Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda of preserving and promoting the environment, Culture, Heritage and Art.
Mr. Malupenga was speaking during the opening of the ”Letters to my grandchildren” art exhibition organised by ZEELA art Gallery.
Dr Kaunda’s words of wisdom on nature, culture and Art have been Exhibited at Zeela Art Gallery in Lusaka.
Mr. Malupenga also noted that art in its various form is an indigenous birth right of the Nation.
He commended Zeela Art Gallery for its contributions to the promotion of tourism in the country.
And one of Zeela’s Board of Directors Yongo Salasini emphasized the need to promote the culture of togetherness for economic diversification.
