Asanovic under pressure
Chansa Kunda-Chipolopolo Coach, ALJOSA ASANOVIC says he is under pressure, heading into tomorrow’s game against the Comoros Island.
The Coach says his team will strive to redeem itself, in second Group H 2023 AFCON qualifier, against Comoros Islands.
The Chipolopolo face Comoros at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, as they seek to get a face saver, following the 3-1 loss to Ivory Coast, in the opening group game.
And ASANOVIC says getting a positive result will be top of the team’s agenda, as they seek to win the confidence of the Zambian people.
He was speaking today in Lusaka during a pre-match press conference.
And, Comoros Islands Coach, YOUNES ZERDOUK has said his team planned for their first two group games, against Lesotho, which they won, and also against Zambia.
ZERDOUK has said the team is fully aware of Zambia’s pedigree, having won the AFCON in 2012, but his players want to qualify to the Ivory Coast AFCON edition.
Meanwhile, Chipolopolo Captain, ENOCK MWEPU has said despite the loss against Ivory Coast, things will change and that the team will record great success.
