
Bowman arrested,charged with corruption
Mary Kachepa-The Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- has arrested and charged former Lusaka Province Minister BOWMAN LUSAMBO with SIX counts of corrupt practices.
Mr. LUSAMBO was however released on bond after nine hours of interrogation and will appear in court soon.
Out of the six counts, four involve being in possession of properties reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
Mr. LUSAMBO has also been charged with two counts of concealment of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
And the ACC has recorded a warn and caution statement from former Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations AMOS CHANDA.
This is in connection with the possession of 15 properties reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
