Clinton Masumba-Business has resumed at Kasumbalesa Border in Chililabombwe as truck drivers called off their protest last night.
Chililabombwe District Commissioner PRECIOUS NJEKWA says the border is calm and traffic is flowing normally.
Ms NJEKWA says as at 13 hours this afternoon, 220 truck entered the Democratic Republic of Congo from the Zambian side, while 125 truck from the DRC crossed into Zambia.

After a nearly three hour meeting, last evening, Zambia’s Defence Minister AMBROSE LUFUMA disclosed that the Congolese government agreed to provide three security patrol vehicles on the stretch in the DRC to ensure safety of the drivers and their goods.
