CHAWAMA YOUTHS EMPOWERED WITH BUSES
Government has given EIGHT Rosa Buses to 8 youth cooperative groups in Lusaka’s Chawama Township.
Ministry Youth and Sports Permanent Secretary JOHN PHIRI says the empowerment is in line with the government’s agenda of not leaving anyone behind.
Dr. PHIRI says the beneficiaries of the buses should upscale the business so that other youths can benefit.
Speaking when he handed over the buses to the Chawama Youth cooperatives in Lusaka today, Dr PHIRI challenged the youths to put the buses to good use as the empowerment is a loan.
Dr. PHIRI said President EDGAR LUNGU remains committed to empowering the youths in the country.
And TAKONDWA Chawama Youth Group Chairperson KASELA CHANSA commended government for the gesture.
Mr. CHANSA promised to ensure the buses are put to good use and benefit the intended people.
