Chella Tukuta Arrested For Criminal Libel

A Lusaka based photographer, Chella Tukuta has been arrested for alleged criminal libel.

This is in connection with derogatory remarks, allegedly produced by Mr Tukuta and posted on his social media page against Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Dora Siliya and several other people.

Police Spokesperson, Esther Katongo has confirmed the arrest of Mr Tukuta in a statement availed to ZNBC News today in Lusaka.

The suspect also posted alleged derogatory remarks against Zambia Revenue Authority , ZRA, Commissioner-General, Kingsley Chanda, Northern Province Permanent Secretary, Charles Sipanje and former Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Rela
ions, Amos Chanda.

Ms Katongo said Mr Tukuta is in police custody, adding that he is also expected to face more charges on the Copperbelt.
