CHIEF CHINAKILA SCHOOLS MPs
A traditional leader in Mpulungu District has urged Members of Parliament (MPs) to support the constitution Amendment Bill Number 10.
Chief Chinakila of the Lungu people of Mpulungu said most of the provisions in Bill 10 are meant to better the lives of ordinary citizens.
Chief Chinakila said this when Presidential Affairs Minister Freedom Sikazwe paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.
And Chongwe District Commissioner Robster Mwanza says traditional leaders and the people of Chongwe are in support of amendment Bill number Ten as it is progressive.
Mr. Mwanza says the clauses in the Bill are welcome and has encouraged Zambians to read the document and appreciate its progressive clauses.
He was speaking when a team of Bill Ten Advocates visited his office before embarking on the distribution of local language documents explaining the contents of the bill.
And leader of the Advocates, Chishala Chilufya said his team is moving around the country with the sole purpose of giving correct information for Zambians to understand the Bill.
