
CHIKOTE HANDSOVER 150 GOATS IN MPOROKOSO
(NAIS) Fisheries and Livestock Minister MAKOZO CHIKOTE has urged the women and youths to consider investing in livestock farming as a serious business.
Speaking when he handed over 150 goats to 50 beneficiaries for the stocking and restocking programme in Mporokoso under the Sustainable Livestock Infrastructure Management Project -SLIMP-, Mr CHIKOTE said it is unfortunate that many youths thin
Livestock farming is for the old people.
Mr. CHIKOTE has observed the need to change the mindset and encourage the youths to consider venturing into Livestock farming, as it is a lucrative farming activity.
He said under the stocking and restocking programme, government has prioritised women and the youths to encourage them to take livestock farming as a profitable business.
