CIVIL AVIATION BOARD CHALLENGED ON SAFETY
Transport and Logistics Minister FRANK TAYALI has urged the newly appointed Civil Aviation Authority Board of Directors to ensure the country attains the required international safety and security assurances in the sector.
Speaking at the official unveiling of the newly appointed six-member board of directors in Lusaka, Mr. TAYALI explained that the government has chosen a strategic direction of making the country a regional transport and logistics hub.
And the new Civil Aviation Authority Board of Directors Chairperson PATRICK NKHOMA, promised to support the government’s call for the country to witness economic transformation through the aviation sector.
Dr. NKHOMA said the board will strategically work with and guide management in the realization of Authority’s mandate.
