Coronavirus Hits Business in Livingstone
Livingstone Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, Namakau Siyanga says the Coronavirus outbreak has affected business in the tourist capital.
Ms. Siyanga says China is a major source of goods for most businesses in Livingstone, and that any slowdown in economic activities in the Asian country automatically spills over to Zambia.
She has told ZNBC News in an interview that most of the businesses in China have closed down because of the coronavirus outbreak which has continued to inevitably slow down some businesses in the Tourist Capital.
Some affected small scale traders say their businesses are affected because they can not restock their goods as they have been forced to suspend travel to China.
