Ministry of Labour Permanent Secretary Chanda Kaziya has urged Zambians to take COVID-19 vaccination seriously to avoid being inconvenienced when they decide to travel abroad.
Mr. Kaziya who is attending the virtual International Labour Organisation -ILO- 109th International Labour Conference, disclosed that talks to introduce a COVID-19 passport have advanced.
He said vaccines must be considered as the statistics do not favour the country.
Mr. Kaziya also said the commemoration of the world day against child labour which falls on the 12th of June will be virtual due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said Zambia has made strides in formulating a clear road map on the elimination of child labor through the National Action Plan.
