COVID-19: ZNBC IMPRESSES IBA

The Independent Broadcasting Authority -IBA- has praised ZNBC for its role in sensitising the public about the Coronavirus.

IBA Board chairperson Mable Mung’omba says sensitising the public in the 7 major languages has helped Government reach out to everyone across the country.

Ms. Mung’omba made the remarks when a team of IBA board members toured the ZNBC studios in Lusaka this afternoon.

And Ms. Mung’omba has also noted that ZNBC remains the pioneer of broadcasting in the country.

Meanwhile, ZNBC Director General Malolela Lusambo said digital broadcasting has laid the foundation for the broadcasting sector to rise to the challenge by offering better and competitive content.

Mr. Lusambo said ZNBC will strive to remain the station of choice for all Zambians for entertainment and current affairs.
