DEPT NATIONAL PARK TO GRANT HUNTING LICENCES

The Ministry of Tourism and Arts through the department of National Parks and Wildlife says it will soon grant licenses to the Hunting fraternity for the 2020 Resident and Bonafide Hunting season, in 24 Game Management Areas (GMAs) across the country.
The department has since advised those interested in participating in the resident and Bonafide hunting for the 2020 hunting season lodge in their applications between the 14th and 22nd September this year.
According to a statement released to ZNBC by the Department of National Parks and Wildlife , forms can be obtained at a non refundable fee of 200 kwacha from the Department of National Parks and Wildlife offices in Chilanga, and other parts of the country where the Department has a presence.
The department further said hunting for successful resident and bonafide applicants, will commence as soon as they are granted the license and end on 31st December 2020.
They have also disclosed that the Wildlife Management Licensing Committee (WMLC) which was recently appointed by the Minister of Tourism and Arts Ronald Chitotela to oversee matters relating to allocation of Hunting Block Concessions and other forms of hunting, has since started sitting to execute its mandate.
