EMBRACE PEACE – CHITIMUKULU
Paramount Chief Chitimukulu of the Bemba speaking people has called on Zambians to continue praying for the peace of the country.
The Paramount Chief says he expects Zambians to also embrace peace and love which they have been known for since time immemorial.
He says people should embrace each other as brothers and sisters and not listen to those who want to promote tribalism and hate speech.
the traditional leader says those that are preaching hate speech only want to cause violence adding that people should not listen to them.
The Paramount Chief said this in Kasama when officials from the Ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs called on him.
Meanwhile, the Paramount Chief said the people should not allow politics to divide them but leave in harmony as they do with churches.
He said as a Christian nation people belong to different church denominations but have not at any time clashed.
The Paramount Chief said traditional leaders will soon be meeting to discuss what they will be telling their subjects.
