Brian Mwale-Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO says the outcome of the EU Zambia Economic Forum is a testament of the vibrant relationship between between the two.
Mrs. NALUMANGO expressed happiness that the two day event provided a platform for interaction and partnership among Zambian and European businesses.
Speaking during the gala dinner after the close of the forum in Lusaka, Mrs. NALUMANGO said government in the next five years targets to stimulate a faster growing economy, develop skills, create opportunities, deepen democracy and strengthening the rule of law.
She also reiterated government’s commitment to deliver campaign promises of creating jobs and fighting poverty.
She said job creation, diversification and social inclusion as essential in creating wealth for the country.
Mrs. NALUMANGO said that the striking diversity of the markets and possibilities of partnerships were given prominence at the forum.
She expressed optimism of joint ventures and mutually beneficial Enterprises continuing to flow while alliances were created.
And EU Head of Delagation to Zambia and COMESA JACEK JANKOWSKI said called on foreign delegates to support the country because its a beautiful and peaceful destination as exhibited through a peaceful transfer of power last year.
