FAZ hopeful of holding virtual meeting with Fifa
Chansa Kunda-The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- is hopeful that the virtual meeting between the World Football Governing Body- FIFA- and Football stakeholders will be Friday.
FAZ General Secretary ADRIAN KASHALA says it is at the discretion of FIFA to either hold the meeting tomorrow or set another date.
KASHALA says it is rather unfortunate that the FA received credentials from the aggrieved parties later than expected.
He says all football stakeholders in Zambia are ready for the meeting, but they now wait for FIFA to give its final position.
KASHALA told ZNBC Sports that the meeting has been long overdue, and it is the hope of the football fraternity that outstanding matters are quickly addressed.
And lawyer of the aggrieved parties, LEWIS MOSHO says they are waiting to receive the meeting credentials.
MOSHO of Lewis and Nathan Advocates says all the details pertaining to the aggrieved camp have been sent as required by FIFA to FAZ and that the aggrieved parties are eager to attend the meeting.
He further says the aggrieved camp expects the outcome of the meeting to be objective and impartial as witnessed in other countries.
