FOLOKO BEATS MPONDELA FOR NOCZ PRESIDENCY

ALFRED FOLOKO has been re-elected as President of the National Olympic Committee of Zambia.
FOLOKO lead the Executive Board in the next quadrennial of 2022 to 2025.
FOLOKO polled 43 beating his opponent ELIAS MPONDELA who polled 9 votes. The elections were held in Lusaka today.
Other Members of the Executive Board include Vice President HAZEL KENNEDY, who got 23 votes beating two others who contested the position of Vice President.
BONIFACE KAMBIKAMBI also returned his post as General Secretary with 38 votes after beating MUSUNKA SILUNGWE, who polled 14 votes.
Meanwhile VICTOR BANDA was unopposed for the position of Treasurer while committee Members SUSANNA DAKIK, MUTALE MASALA and RODRICK NDHLOVU were also unopposed.
