FRUIT PROCESSING PLANT WORKS EXCITE ECL

President Edgar Lungu is happy that works have resumed to construct a fruit processing plant in Mwinilunga District of North Western province.
President Lungu says the works had stopped because of Covid-19.
The Head of State says he will personally officially open the processing plant when it is completed.
President Lungu said this when he held a meeting with Senior Chiefs Kanongesha, Chibwika and Ntambu in Mwinilunga District.
Meanwhile, President Lungu urged Chiefs to prevail over their Members of Parliament so that they support the Constitutional Amendment Bill Number ten of 2019.
He said some of the issues they are complaining about can only be sorted out when the bill is passed in Parliament.
President Lungu said reports of people illegally declaring themselves as Chiefs will continue if the current law remains the same.
The Head of State said the Patriotic Front -PF -will lose nothing when the bill is withdrawn but stakeholders such as Chiefs.
And Speaking on behalf of other traditional leaders, Chief Ntambu thanked the President for visiting the area.
He said the Traditional Leaders are happy that President Edgar Lungu has started the construction of the fruit processing plant in the area.
