Govt allocates land for police post,houses in Lusaka South MFEZ

Memory Bbuku-Government has set aside land for the construction of a police station and staff houses in the Lusaka South Multi Economic Zone -MFEZ.

And Home Affairs Minister JACK MWIIMBU says government is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for investors.

The minister said this in a speech read on his behalf by Home Affairs Permanent Secretary JOSEPH AKAFUMBA during a ground breaking ceremony of a police station.

Mr. MWIIMBU assured Lusaka MFEZ management that government will provide trained manpower to secure the area and community at large.

And Lusaka South MFEZ Managing Director JOSEPH MWILA said the coming of a police station is timely saying criminal activities in the area have been on the rise.
