Govt Puts $46m in Youth Livestock Project
By Mary Kachepa Mwiinga -Government has invested over 46 million dollars in the procurement of different livestock that will be distributed to 28 thousand people across the country.
Speaking when he launched the National Livestock Youth Project in Lusaka, PF National Youth Chairperson Kelvin Sampa said the project will target to empower youths in the country regardless of their political affiliation.
Mr Sampa says the patriotic front government has placed high premium on the development of the youth in the country.
Meanwhile, Zambia Livestock Cooperative Union Limited Chairperson Elias Nkhuwa urged the youth to have mindset towards agriculture because it has potential to change the economy.
